Montessori Schools of Irvine were selected from a pool of over 100 applications to provide model child care on the UCI campus—the first public-private partnership of its kind. Chosen for our standards of excellence in all areas of our program, the architectural firm of LPA was then contracted and designed a model building that has won 2 architectural awards and set the standard for early childhood programs across the country.

University Montessori School is also the home of the University Montessori Teacher Education Program at UCI for becoming a Montessori credentialed professional for working with both infant/toddler and early childhood age groups. A special Adult Education wing provides a training venue that is offered through the UCI Division of Continuing Education and accredited nationally through MACTE/AMS.
